Martiniano

Martiniano

Martiniano shoes are handmade in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Martiniano Lopez Crozet, designer and founder, launched his first collection in February 2012. The brand is known for traditional craftsmanship and for its comfort.

All Martiniano shoes are made from kid leather dyed using anilines. Aniline dyed leathers are the most attractive and natural leathers and are prized for their soft natural feel. The surface is not covered with a topcoat of paint or insoluble pigment. The resulting product retains the hide’s natural surface and grain, including visible pores.

Martiniano’s aesthetic is centered on simplicity, austerity, and understated elegance, in which the slight quirks and anomalies arising from the natural qualities of the material and the craftsmanship are embraced as essential to the uniqueness of the object.

Peterson Stoop

Peterson Stoop

Remastered / Artisanal / Genderless

We are Peterson Stoop, founded by Jelske Peterson and Jarah Stoop, supported by a small team of interns and artisans. We pride ourselves to be part of a new generation of fashion innovators. Pioneering a sustainable approach to footwear production and design.

Having built up a solid knowledge of traditional techniques and durable materials through working at a shoe repair shop and leather tannery, we established Peterson Stoop. Through our experience in shoe repair we experienced that sneakers are discarded and replaced rather than repaired. In 2016 we developed our current concept; and conceived a way to tackle the issue of waste in the footwear industry.

Peterson Stoop deconstructs vintage sneakers and rebuilds them with natural materials, including cork and leather. By producing desirable and ethical footwear we intend to steer the industry to a more sustainable future.

We met during Peterson’s admission interview at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, Arnhem. Our paths crossed again and we started sharing a studio following Stoop’s graduation from the Royal College of Art, London. After successfully collaborating on several prestigious design projects the inevitable happened and Peterson Stoop was conceived. We focus on every step of our footwear’s production process. Our social and environmental goals are ever evolving, we make use of the highest ethical solutions that lie within our current means.

United Nude

United Nude

As the brain-child of architecturally-trained designer Rem D. Koolhaas (nephew and namesake of architect Rem Koolhaas of OMA), UNITED NUDE is a design-oriented brand at the intersection of fashion and architecture. Since 2003, the company has embraced the tangible scale of a shoe (among other objects like watches, furniture, and cars) as a means of designing objects of pure geometry and simplicity through form.

By taking an architectural approach to design, UNITED NUDE is renowned for its structural capabilities and boasts shoe designs of unprecedented height and form. This commitment has granted them opportunities for collaborations with like-minded fashion innovators such as Iris Van Herpen and Issey Miyake. The brand is guided in equal parts by its insistence on innovation and modernity, and its ability to achieve design classics that transcend time.

Yume Yume

Yume Yume

YUME YUME aspires to create unique design pieces for all creatives in the world. Everyone is a creative in their own unique way. Our brand is for the dream builders, the people who dare to imagine and construct their own surroundings rather than purely inhabiting them.
Our customer is a sensible one, a curator if you will, that pays attention to details in the objects they acquire. They use fashion in a conscious way to build their identity, and want to stand out from the crowd. They value original and conscious design.
Consider our collection an ode to those who have a nature for sparking interest and curiosity. An act of love for orginiality.
“Intentionally ___________.”

“Intentionally ___________.”

“INTENTIONALLY ___________.”  was created in 2014 in Los Angeles, and can currently be shopped globally on the shelves and sites of top retailers, tastemakers, and prime market influencers. Founded by Creative Director, Ty McBride, as his first solo branded project, IB sets out with clear intentions: “To create the pieces that help you fill “____________s” in your personal style mantra.”

Manufacturing is split between partner factories in the South of Spain and in the Guangdong Province of China. The team from “Intentionally _______.” seeks to create hyper wearable footwear, which fit into a myriad of personal style spectrums, while delivering value and commanding just enough attention. With nods to the minimal, vintage inspirations, and touches of visual irony, the brand has garnered a cult following after five impactful years in the market.

With its newest outpost in Hudson NY, the indie brand continues to evolve with each season. In 2016 IB launched a small apparel collection and later that year launched its now infamous hat collection. While continuing to grow and push the market the brand stays true to its DNA and fans, working hard to create show-stopping items you just can’t live without.
